Samsung’s S95D is an impressive TV with its innovative anti-reflective layer, redefining the playing field between OLED and LCD TVs. Even in bright rooms, it delivers a razor-sharp picture with rich blacks and radiant colours.
The powerful Neural Quantum Processor ensures smooth movements and very good upscaling, while gaming mode with minimal input lag and 120 Hz support ensures an immersive experience.
Although the measured colour fidelity is excellent, colour reproduction in practice isn’t quite as vivid as that of some competitors. Plus, there’s no Dolby Vision – always a killer criterion for many. Nevertheless, the S95D impresses with its overall performance and is particularly suitable for anyone who values a low-reflection picture in bright rooms.

I did everything right for a change. On 09.11.24 I put it on the watch list (4950.-) on 11.11.24 I received an email that it now costs 4090.-, 10' later I ordered it and after receiving it I filled in the form for the 600.- cashback from Samsung ;) -> I bought my first OLED and the best TV I've ever had in 77" for 3400.
So the wait for a Samsung OLED with one connect box was worth it for me. Since LG never built a TV with a one connect box, I never bought one. That was a must for me, as wall mounting is the only option for me. And by far the best thing about this TV for me is the anti-reflective coating! The conditions in my living room are such that something has always been reflected in the TV and this is now a thing of the past ;)

The matte coating is really good, you can watch during the day and your tv dont turn into a miror.

Be aware that the power board on this tv will fail in time as it happened with the s95b, c and the d is no exception. It can take 1 year or 3 years but it will fail and if you are outside the warranty, the price to fix it is almost the same as a new tv. https://www.reddit.com/r...

The QE55S95D is conditionally usable as a normal TV, with the minimal window operation very cumbersome.
The device was probably designed as a streamer / gamer and overloaded with apps.
