Quiet, thin hose, can be moved on rollers

Have been using the unit for a week.
Much quieter and better cooling performance than monobloc units.

    very detailed review:

Remko RKL 495 DC Review (after using for for more than 1 month)

I bought 2 of these units and cooling really works at low fan. My appartment is 84 square meters and I have placed 1 in the living room and the 2nd in the master bedroom, when both are running, the temp in the apartment is very pleasent compared to the heat outside. I always get the indicated temp inside even though outside temp is more than 30 C. I normally set the inside temp to be 24 C.

    Very happy with my purchase.

    Pro

    • Mobility due to wheels on the base of the unit
    • Cooling
    • Timer (on/off)
    • Different fan speeds
    • Remote control
    • Automatic wind direction and able to stop it at an angle needed
    • Does not need to open the window that much as the connector is very thin comapred to monoblocs
    • Noice during day time at low fan mode is ok

    Contra

    • A bit noisy in the night

    Cooling capacity very good

    - Keeps a room of 30 m2 at 33 degrees outside temperature constantly at 23 degrees with the lowest fan speed (low) and a set temperature of 23 degrees.
    - Pumps the condensate water to the outdoor unit. Additional cooling
is provided by evaporation at the outdoor unit.
I bought it for 1799 and would buy it again, so I recommend it.

    Pro

    • Cooling capacity very very good
    • Additionally cools through condensate evaporation
    • 4 carabiners and 2 straps for attachment to a balustrade
    • Outdoor unit can be mounted on indoor unit for transport
    • Inner unit has castors and can be moved easily
    • 3 metre hose between indoor unit and outdoor unit
    • Handles on outdoor unit and indoor unit
    • Indoor unit quiet

    Contra

    • Price
    • Size and weight

Works very well, but the gas runs out very quickly

I've had this model for 4 years and every 2 years it runs out of gas, so no more cold is generated. It becomes a big fan waiting to be repaired. It takes 2-3 weeks to recharge the gas, so it's not practical when you realise it at the start of the heatwave.
However, when it works, it's great. Perfect for keeping a bedroom at the right temperature at the end of the day.

    Pro

    • 15k BTU

    Contra

    • Energy consumption B
    • The gas disappears too quickly

turn your house into a fridge

so here the dog almost froze to death, if you set the thing to full throttle it sounds like an aeroplane landing, if you set it to 25°C when it's >35°C outside it only comes on every 3 minutes and not even loudly, the most sensible electrical appliance I've ever bought! And that with the immersion heater in the blazing sun!
