I thought long and hard about whether to go for the Surface Go 2, M3 or Lenovo Duet 3 N5030. Result, I decided on the cheaper Lenovo. The N5030 and the M3 are about the same price. That's why I won't consider upgrading to the Surface Go2. The Surface from MS has a quality feel to it. The Lenovo more like the Samung tablet from my younger daughter's school. Cheap. Did I expect anything different? No.
If you're looking for a Windows PC for surfing the web, listening to music and watching films, you're well served. The Duet can do that perfectly well.

Massively cheaper than the Go with the same equipment (keyboard, pen). Useful pen, removable keyboard with Bluetooth can also be used separately, makes a very smooth impression with 8/128/Pentium Gold, of course not as a gamer machine. The keyboard cannot be placed on top like in the Go, but you could build something with an aluminum strip and Velcro. The pen, which is quite usable, comes loose, mobile without the keyboard, magnetically held just at the side or clamped with the foot, not so ideal, but at the price, who wants to complain. A felt bag from e**** is recommended, as the pen also has a compartment. Appearance very okay, despite everything makes a quality impression. Of course not on Go level. You get a lot for the money! The usual compromises in the tiny keyboard, most likely the almost forced triple function bar and typing § instead of 1 at the beginning, and you can press the keys a bit harder than in the Go, but frequent typists won't be happy with either the one or the other keyboard. The fact that Lenovo did not stay true to itself and exchanged CTRL and FN compared to its own laptops is of course a matter of taste, but those who also have a Lenovo laptop would like it differently. For HP laptop users it fits better. Am only three days on the road with it, but I think the Duet and I - the beginning of a long friendship. CAUTION: do *NOT* set the "USB Always on" option to off in the BIOS - this will result in a battery drain of about 1% per hour, even when the tablet is completely shut down. If in doubt, do a factory reset in BIOS, which resets the problematic option. (This probably affects BIOS ...22WW and 24WW, so the problem has been in the device for a while).

The small device is very practical for on the go. Once set up, it is a useful tool for office applications and Internet. A little time was needed for configuration - I am satisfied all along the line, for a manageable price.
It could have been decent overall but the fact that the battery just keeps draining even when the device is turned off is a deal breaker in my opinion. People who would have it as a secondary machine won't have it turned on all the time. The keyboard layout feels really unnatural too.
But the price definitely make up for it. The design is pretty nice. If you use it regularely it's a nice machine.
Just buy a Surface Go with 128 GB SSD. A little more expensive but it's like day and night.
