do not buy this protective case, it is worthless!
Sometimes I wonder if Fairphone really tests some of its products before they hit the market. At least with this product, I have big doubts about it. Due to the wrong construction, the edges and corners of the phone are not protected at all.
I got this case for free when I bought my Fairphone and I’m glad I didn’t spend any money on it.
Yesterday, I dropped my Fairphone for the first time. The result was a broken screen protector and small scratches on the metal frame of the FP5 - one of the few parts you can’t replace.
Look out for alternative cases with raised edges that really protect your phone!
The hardcase from Biowaves should be available for the FP5 soon. Or the wooden hardcases from Bark Sweden, who plan to release a case for the Fairphone 5 as well. I've never used them, but the reviews for them aren't too bad. And it's not that hard to achieve better protection than this case offers.

Looks nice but does nothing

Bad design
It doesn't matter if you manufacture something with 100% recycled materials, if the design is bad.
This case is poorly designed, and it offers 0 protection for the screen and very little for the cameras.
Fairphone definitely knows how to design a good case, because the FF4 one for example doesn't have those issues, but it looks like they forgot how to do their job for this one.
I will have to buy a different one to protect my phone.
My suggestion is: don't buy this cover.Pro

Not so great
Feels cheap, slippery, and you can't press the on/off button well anymore. The screen protector also protrudes, the green is rather bluish. Otherwise the case fits well.

Does not protect display
I took the Fairphone case because you would expect them to have harmonised their own products.
What's annoying every day: the fingerprint sensor works really badly with it.
What annoys you the first time you drop your Fairphone5: The display breaks despite the case.
Mobile phones are like jam sandwiches, they always end up on the display side. The cover does not protrude over the front edge, i.e. it does not protect the display.
What good is a fairly and ecologically produced cover if I still have to waste the raw materials for a new display and another cover that really protects it?

Unfortunately not as good as expected
Unfortunately, the combination of the above points has now led to the mobile slipping out of my hand and hitting the floor after three days of using the new Fairphone... Never happened to me in the last 3 years. Unfortunately, it's due to the bad case. I have now ordered a soft case here on digitec/galaxus for the FP5 which fixes the problem at a third of the price...
