Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950
Vacuum mopping robot
I am very satisfied with the robot itself. He vacuums well, he wipes well and he navigates quite neatly. In addition, he is not too noisy and creates the whole apartment with one battery charge.
Everything would be great (5 stars), if there were not the app.
This is in my opinion really bad (esp. at least with me the created maps including the room division often lost, incomprehensible TimeOuts etc., ).
Since the app is for me an important part of the overall package, it is only 3 stars. I wouldn't buy it again (because of the app).

We have owned the Ozmo 950 for 4 months now and are basically happy with it. We can recommend it. The positives about the Ozmo have already been highlighted extensively here, so I'll just mention what we don't like about it.
Initial situation: We have a 5.5 ZWG, which is very spacious / winding and has a lot of furniture / accessories. The whole apartment has parquet flooring except for bathroom/WC/kitchen with tiles.

So I would like to draw a small conclusion after the first week, maybe it will help one or the other.
We have stone tiles and individual carpets throughout the flat, larger ones in the living room, smaller ones in the bathroom and hallway. No pets, 2 floors
So what our little helper (the device has a female voice) sucks together is really very good, after 2 days there is really a lot of dirt together.
You don't even notice what's coming together again. The flat actually looks tip-top, but after cleaning, a lot of dust has come together again, every time so far.
Now the somewhat annoying point is the app and the control or programming of the routes.
I have had to remeasure our first floor 3 times so far because strange things happen. The second time I had to do it again because a check mark that I think should be set by default - the ->Advanced mode<- is not set. This is necessary for the second floor, otherwise you can only create one map.
The 3rd time it drove from its charging station to the flat in a mirrored way, which resulted in it driving to the station and ending up on the wall, and it couldn't find its way back, so I had to delete the map and send it on its way again. I suspect it was confused because I had to turn it over to remove the brush to clean it. From now on, I put her in the middle of the room after cleaning so that she can find her way back from there.
About carpets, bath mats, doormats:
We have 2 large carpets, one of them a high pile/long pile, which is logically not possible. I have tested it in our house, it doesn't work, but I knew beforehand that it wouldn't. She manages the other large carpet without any problems.
It fails with small carpets such as bath mats, where it simply pulls them together and then pushes them around. We also have a smaller carpet with fringes in front of our balcony that doesn't work well with the roller brush. I now always remove all the small carpets beforehand.
Black things like furniture:
I have black floor-standing speakers with a black glass base that she always tries to raise, and in general, she is very rough on black things. But that is state of the art, you just have to know beforehand. She also doesn't drive onto black carpets.
Cables are also sometimes rather cumbersome if they are not laid rigidly enough.
I haven't tried the wiping function yet, and I won't, because it doesn't make sense to me. For stains or coarse dirt, you need power and it can't apply that anyway.
We bought it to vacuum the flat and it does that very well if you don't set any traps for it like half-open doors that it then closes.
4 stars because there is still a lot of potential in the app control.

The robot worked perfectly for a couple of months after we bought it, but then Christmas came and with it a whole host of problems. They all concern the app, but since the app is your interface to the bot, it's more or less all that matters.
Around Christmas, the app stopped recognizing the bot. This happened to lots of other people, which caused the ratings on Google Play to plummet. After a couple of weeks, they put out an update, which solved the problem temporarily, but not for everyone - the app's rating is still at a miserable 2.5 right now. Since a couple of months, the bot keeps going offline and has to be started manually before being controllable via app. Furthermore, it consistently fails to build a map of the flat. We will give it another few weeks and if nothing improves, return it while it still is in warranty.
As a satisfied owner of a Neato Botvac D75 for 8 years, but tired of having to change its battery every 36 months, I decided to replace it with "Takeshi" Ecovacs ;)
I must say that I don't regret it at all. What progress has been made in the last 10 years. The vacuum is fast, quiet and efficient.
The control via the app or the connected assistants is a big plus. No more surprises when you come home from work and find your hoover stuck under a piece of furniture with a dead battery.
You can track it on your device's map. And if there is a problem, it sends you a notification. At least you know!
The floor cleaning function does not replace the mop, but it does allow you to "maintain" the floors easily. However, the tray takes days to dry.
It also comes with most of the "consumable" accessories, which is also a big plus.
The price was lowered (just before my delivery unfortunately for me) which makes it very affordable compared to the competition.

I never write online reviews - but here it must be...
The smallest element becomes an obstacle. The 2cm heel of my cantilever chairs becomes an insurmountable obstacle. You can define blocked areas on the map. The problem is that the area where there is the most dirt (under the table) is not cleaned.
And unfortunately, the stupid thing loses the map settings about every 2 weeks - so the whole game starts all over again.
