Simply a top processor. The community may be divided, but what AMD has delivered here is top! With the first throw, a processor comes onto the market that, compared to its predecessors, has practically 100% more performance and consumes half as much power in idle mode.
The processor offers very good performance for the price.
When selecting the right RAMs, you simply have to pay attention to them, as this can bring about quite an increase in performance. It must be selected together with the motherboard.

Fast, efficient, cheap. Well, cheap compared to the Intel competition. ;)
Runs wonderfully, finally I can stream with a better profile and don't even load the processor with the game. A dream! AMD has come out of the woodwork.
I'll see what I can do with OCing... as soon as the MB bios get a bit more stable. ^^

Processor does what it promises. I need the computer for video editing, image processing and also for a few hours of gaming in between. In combination with the GeForce GTX 1080, absolutely no FPS problems in WQHD resolution @60Hz. It's fun and, depending on the game, files can be unpacked/packed in the background without problems. This makes multitasking fun.

Brings more to the table than it promises. Incredible performance at a low price

I very rarely write reviews, but I simply have to write something here :-)
I am simply thrilled with the processor. Considering that the Ryzen 1800X is much cheaper than Intel, the price/performance is simply outstanding. I haven't had an AMD processor for years and I wouldn't give it away. The performance is just great.
I've already followed all the tests online and can't understand the negative reviews. Especially the FPS in games. I'm an enthusiastic gamer but also work a lot in the multimedia field. That's why I need the processor for both. And I can't understand the criteria if it's about 5-15% FPS or something that nobody can see with their eyes anyway. In addition, the games are not yet optimised for Ryzen.
I think it's great that AMD has finally brought a product onto the market that inspires.

This is one fast cpu. Runs almost anything with lightspeed. Paired with a gigabyte motherboards and a liquid cooler.
