Hello Alain, we also use this one Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter v2 Can be used with Windows 10, needs a local WLAN in which the notebooks and the adapter are in, it's worth trying out, but the comments/reviews on it are very different, probably depends on the WLAN quality. LG Paul
The base station does not require an internet connection and is connected to the TV via an HDMI cable.
I solved it this way by simply plugging an adapter (the one from Apple) in between. It worked wonderfully until someone took theirs away. So I bought the same adapter again, but then stuck it to the button with superglue, and it now holds and works perfectly. Since I have two buttons anyway, one is now USB and the other USB-C ;-)
Yes, two dongles are included in the scope of delivery.
The buttons always communicate directly with the base, no network is needed. The network can be used, for example, to manage the base station, to set the WLAN SID so that mobile devices can display their content via WLAN, etc.
no, it can only be presented on one screen, but two presentations can be sent at the same time, the screen then splits, which is actually not useful, as both images are then very small and black borders remain at the top & bottom.
