Since the Barco product information page says something about integration into the network, I ask the question here: Is it necessary to integrate this system into the network or can the base station communicate directly with the buttons?

Helpful answer

The buttons always communicate directly with the base, no network is needed. The network can be used, for example, to manage the base station, to set the WLAN SID so that mobile devices can display their content via WLAN, etc.
