Product details
The Intel Turbo Boost technology dynamically increases a processor's frequency as needed by utilizing temperature and power reserves to provide more speed when required and, otherwise, greater energy efficiency.
In conjunction with the appropriate software, the Intel 64 architecture enables 64-bit processing on servers, workstations, PCs, and mobile platforms. Intel 64 enhances performance by allowing the system to address more than 4 GB of virtual and physical memory through this processor extension.
The Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology is an advanced feature designed for mobile devices that require a combination of high performance with minimal energy consumption. The traditional Intel SpeedStep technology adjusts voltage and frequency based on processor load, switching simultaneously between high and low values. The Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology builds on this architecture and employs design strategies such as separating voltage and frequency changes, as well as clock partitioning and recovery.
