Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite

The Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite ATX motherboard features a PCI Express 3.0 slot with full x16 bandwidth for graphics cards, as well as a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot with x4 bandwidth. For additional expansion cards, the motherboard provides two more PCIe 2.0 x1 slots. The four RAM slots support up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory with a clock speed of up to 2,667 megahertz and can even reach clock speeds of up to 3,200 MHz through overclocking.

The AM4 motherboard offers two M.2 slots with PCIe connectivity. One is connected to the chipset with four PCIe lanes and the SATA protocol. M.2 SSDs using the advanced NVM Express protocol (NVMe) and connected via four PCI Express 3.0 lanes can be up to eight times faster than SATA 6G hard drives, supporting data transfer rates of up to 32 Gbit/s. One of the slots features an integrated heat spreader. One slot accommodates cards up to 110 mm (22110), while the other can be equipped with smaller 2280 M.2 cards.

The Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite provides four USB 3.0 Type-A ports on the I/O panel. For CPUs with integrated graphics units, such as AMD's Raven Ridge, there is both an HDMI and a DVI-D port available.

The motherboard includes several headers for static RGB elements, including a 4-pin header for selected AMD boxed coolers. Additionally, there is a 5-pin slot for static RGB elements and two digitally addressable 3-pin slots, whose power supply can be set between 5V and 12V via a jumper. Connected RGB elements can also be controlled through Gigabyte's RGB Fusion software, just like the RGB LED lighting of the motherboard itself. Furthermore, there are four 4-pin PWM slots available for fans.
