We're going to IFA - What do you want to see?

The time has come on 30 August. The "Internationale Funkausstellung" opens its doors to the media. We report on simply everything from Europe's biggest tech trade fair: from the greatest smartphone to smart pool robots. What are you particularly interested in?
Four Redis are making the 850 kilometres from Zurich to Berlin - Michelle Brändle, Lorenz Keller, Luca Fontana and Florian Bodoky. Our Hamburg colleague Jan Johannsen has a slightly shorter route, but is no less motivated, covering almost 300 kilometres. Together we explore the 270,000 square metre (!!) exhibition grounds and try to visit as many of the more than 2,000 exhibitors as possible. Of course, we also keep an eye on "small" companies and start-ups.
We report in our articles, pictures and Insta Broadcast posts (only works on mobile) about live launches of products and our experiences with new devices. Of course, you'll also find out when we come across exciting, useful or simply weird random finds.
To make sure you don't miss anything, we recommend that you keep an eye on our article feed - you'll find it on our homepage from tomorrow. There you will see an overview of all IFA articles. Including those written by our colleagues from Zurich.
What are you particularly interested in? Which devices and which manufacturers should we take a closer look at? Let us know in the comments!
And last but not least: Do you have any restaurant tips for Berlin? After all, hungry journalists have to eat sometimes.

I've been tinkering with digital networks ever since I found out how to activate both telephone channels on the ISDN card for greater bandwidth. As for the analogue variety, I've been doing that since I learned to talk. Though Winterthur is my adoptive home city, my heart still bleeds red and blue.
