Android 14 is here: These new features are now coming to Pixel devices
by Jan Johannsen
This week, everything is directly or indirectly about pixels. From Google Pixel to painted, recorded and moving pixels. It's about smartphones, tablets, a watch, photography and games.
Google has not only made a name for itself this week with new hardware, but also with Android 14. Our colleague Lorenz takes a hands-on look at the new Pixel 8. The Android innovations are explained by Jan. He also tested the Pixel Tablet, which is a gadget for the home.
Michelle ensures that it's not just the Android camp that is supplied with content. She wonders where alternative pens for drawing pixels on the iPad are. She also shows you how to operate the Apple Watch Series 9 without touching a single pixel.
If you want to create more powerful images from pixels than with a smartphone, use a real camera. That's what our David does. He also finds out how a new RAW format that is not yet supported by the editing software can still be edited.
Kevin tested for you how well data, such as images from Pixel, is stored on the Samsung T9 external SSD.
But that's not all the pixels. Simon's game review of "Forza Motorsport" featured lots of pixels moving at breakneck speed. And last but not least, "Assassin's Creed Mirage" has managed to move two people in our editorial team at once. So as well as a game review from Luca, we also have an opinion from Debora.
