Even without E3, there will be game fireworks in June. Numerous highlights are expected at the Summer Game Fest. Domi, Simon and I will be commentating on the event live from 20:45.
When E3 was still alive, June was one of the highlights for gamers. It was a jam-packed week with new games, trailers and hardware. The legendary game fair has probably thrown in the towel for good. The Summer Game Fest has stepped into the breach.
Under the direction of industry leader Geoff Keighley, an arsenal of live events has accumulated. An overview of the announced streams can be found here. Keighley, who is also responsible for the Game Awards Show at the end of the year, will be hosting his own event. At the Summer Game Fest Showcase, you can expect lots of unwanted game advertising as well as plenty of trailers (desired advertising) for new and unreleased games.
Domagoj Belancic, Simon Balissat and I will be commentating the event live. Because such streams are usually dripping with platitudes, superlatives and other buzzwords, we have prepared a bullshit bingo. We'll share the link directly on Twitch and YouTube, along with an explanation of how to play it.
