Because Luca is on vacation, giving me the perfect opportunity to add my unwanted opinions to last week's trailers as well. We're doing some Daniel Craig, a bit of Bollywood and animated musicians.
There's a trailer out regarding the upcoming trailer for the new James Bond blockbuster «No Time to Die». It's a bit weird. But nice.
Speaking of James Bond: Daniel Craig is the only actor who has played the role of James Bond for three decades. «Casino Royale» 2006, «Skyfall» 2012 and «No Time to Die» 2020. And a few other movies.
«No Time to Die» will be shown in cinemas starting April 2, 2020.
Rian Johnson asks: What happened to Harlan Thrombey? Master detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, is up to the task. In a classic murder mystery, Hollywood's big-wigs usually try to outdo each other. So that's a good sign.
The great trailer conveys a retro feeling and charm. Finally, a trailer that tells the story of the movie, but doesn't reveal everything. A truly enjoyable clip.

I can hardly understand a word from the Commando 3 trailer. But that's not really necessary. I know what it's about, too. Kampfsau Karan (Vidyut Jammwal), some kind of super policeman by trade, goes to London to beat people up, otherwise India is screwed. Something something civil war.
A free tip, by the way: when a Bollywood action blockbuster comes to cinemas in this country, it's worth seeing. It's all one big party, even on Sunday mornings.
«Gorillaz: Reject False Icons», a one-off, promises a lot of music and insight into a band that exists in two realities simultaneously. There's the current storyline surrounding the musicians of the virtual band «Gorillaz» and the story of the real people who produce the music.
Speakin of Gorillaz: guitarist Noodle is a girl who ages in real time, just like the other band members. She's also an ambassador for the British racing team Panasonic Jaguar Racing.

Teenagers during the zombie apocalypse. What could possibly go wrong? Turns out a lot, as we already have enough nonsense such as a love triangles between zombies or vampires or werewolves or Cthulhu.
But what if these post-apocalyptic teenagers from «The Walking Dead» have to assert themselves against hordes of undead, adults in helicopters with corporate logos and themselves? «The Walking Dead: World Beyond», the third attempt at a live-action version of the original comic, is certainly trying. After all, these main characters don't know any world before zombies.
Speaking of comics: this particular series just ended. Unexpectedly. And it was awesome.
«The Walking Dead: World Beyond» starts in Spring 2020 on AMC. Probably on Netflix as well.

How necessary are trailers for trailers as a concept?

In the comment section, reader Emkael pointed out to me that a trailer to the trailer is not a trailer to the trailer, but a teaser. Be that as it may, even if I'm not allowed to use the term trailer to the trailer, because a trailer to the trailer is a teaser, then the bond teaser is not a good teaser. Do you know what a good teaser is? The one for Black Widow.

Unless, of course, the title «Teaser Trailer» indicates that this is the trailer for the teaser, which would actually be the trailer for the trailer of the trailer.
