Atari will offer countless games from the Antstream Gaming Stream Service on its own VCS console. More than 2,000 licensed retro games are planned.
In addition to the classic video games that will be available for the Atari VCS, many more retro games can be played via the Antstream Arcade subscription. The plan will cost $7.99 per month for an annual subscription or $9.99 per month for a monthly subscription. 50 retro games will be available at launch, with new games being added regularly.
Christmas and birthday for retro fans
In addition to the standard games available on Antstream Arcade, the streaming service exclusive to the Atari VCS will offer the largest collection of on-demand Atari games - both original and enhanced. It will include titles such as "Night Driver", "Pong" and "Yars' Revenge".

Frédéric Chesnais, CEO at Atari, comments on the partnership: "Antstream Arcade is a perfect partner for Atari and its fans. Antstream offers its users instant access to an incredibly large library of retro games, including many Atari titles that have never been available for streaming before."
Historical but expensive fun
All Antstream Arcade Games will be compatible with the Atari VCS joystick and the modern controller. The Atari VCS console itself will launch for $249.99 and will be available for pre-order at GameStop, Walmart and AtariVCS.com. Delivery will start in March 2020.
