Super Mario Day is on 10 March: What's behind it - and how to celebrate the event in style

The bold plumber is now so famous that he has his own anniversary. It goes without saying that both Nintendo itself and Mario fans take advantage of the occasion. Be it for announcements for gaming extras or as a party event with lots of Mario merchandise.
In previous years, Nintendo has also given its gaming community bonus points in certain games to mark 10 March or cooperated with Google Maps in 2018, for example. Back then, fans could use the location app to navigate the streets with Mario in his kart instead of following the usual directional arrows.
Buck for Mario Party? (No, not the game...)
Have you got the urge to celebrate Mario's day of honour? I certainly do - after all, I'm a big fan of the virtual Bowser conqueror and his entourage, even if the games sometimes drive me to despair. In any case, you'll also find plenty of Mario merch in our shop to celebrate 10 March in style.

Costumes

Decoration
Super Mario flair for your own four walls is available in the form of tablecloths, balloons and party garlands.
And when is Yoshi Day?
Mario's riding dinosaur Yoshi will be celebrated by his fans on 4 April - at least in Japan, if you believe the Reddit community. The background to this is the Japanese word game Goroawase, in which the syllables Yo(n) and Si each mean the number four, which is how the 4th of April comes about.
