Spoiler factory: "The Acolyte", episodes 1 and 2 - of Jedi criticism and dark machinations
by Luca Fontana

The time has come: For the eighth time, Luca Fontana, Patrick Vogt and Ramon Schneider discuss, analyse and dissect a new episode of "The Acolyte", the dark "Star Wars" series on Disney+.
Stage final. It had everything. Action. Answers. Emotions. Drama. Revelations. And a promise: that it can't end here - even if no official second season has yet been confirmed despite talks having already taken place with showrunner Leslye Headland.
Luca is certain, however: the starting position is perfect for a significantly improved second season. Patrick would be happy if the acting was better this time round. Ramon, meanwhile, would like to see a bit more pace if there is to be a sequel.
What's next on the programme for the Spoiler Factory is not yet certain. However, you are welcome to request series or films on our Discord Channel. One thing is certain: the programme break won't last more than a few weeks. If at all. Until then, I have a little bonus for you: a short interview I was able to conduct with Master Sol actor Lee Jung-jae.
Have you missed the previous episode reviews of "The Acolyte"? No problem: Here are the episodes you're looking for:

Luca is living proof that our parents lied: There are no square eyes from watching too much TV. Rumour has it that he was already watching "Star Wars" films and reading Marvel comics in his mother's womb. Today, after many years of field research, he knows his way around the Disney universe better than Al Capone in 1930s Chicago. He uses the same password for his 14 streaming subscriptions because otherwise he would forget them. The only people allowed to interfere with his "work" are his two cats.

The Force must be with Patrick, as he saw the light of day in the same year as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" (if you know, you know). His love for "Star Wars" is so great that he practices fight choreographies in the garden on balmy full moon nights, with Bo-Katan Kryze's helmet on his head and Kylo Ren's lightsaber in his hand. When he's not saving the galaxy, he fights side by side with Gandalf and Legolas against Saruman's Uruk-hai army, extends Wolverine's adamantium claws or swings through skyscraper canyons like Spider-Man.

When Ramon isn't bringing his friends to their knees playing board games, he creates entire worlds out of Lego that would impress even Hollywood. To recover from the offline world, he dives headfirst into series and binge-watches with total dedication. His motto: "One more episode to go!"

I write about technology as if it were cinema, and about films as if they were real life. Between bits and blockbusters, I’m after stories that move people, not just generate clicks. And yes – sometimes I listen to film scores louder than I probably should.
