The HDR screens are equipped with one DisplayPort and two HDMI connections. They also have an integrated USB hub. This means you can connect additional accessories to the computer in this way.

Odyssey 3D G9 - G90XF

The special feature of this 27-inch screen: it displays suitable content in 3D without glasses. According to the manufacturer, the monitor simulates the 3D effect with the help of eye tracking and «view mapping algorithms». The screen therefore recognises where your eyes are directed. The 3D impression is created because the monitor shows each eye a slightly different image.

«Suitable content» can be compatible games. The software «Reality Hub» is designed to help you find suitable games and set them up. The cat adventure game «Stray» is one example of this. Using AI, the screen should also be able to convert two-dimensional videos into 3D.

The IPS screen offers 4K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165 hertz. The response time is one millisecond (grey-to-grey). There are LEDs on the underside of the monitor that light up in the colours of the screen content, giving the monitor an Ambilight effect.

Odyssey G9 - G91F

The 49-inch screen with 1000R curved display has a resolution of 5120 × 1440 pixels, which corresponds to a 32:9 ratio. You can imagine the width to be similar to two 24-inch screens with a 16:9 format next to each other. The refresh rate is 144 hertz and the response time is one millisecond (GtG).

The 1000R curvature rate best corresponds to the natural field of vision of the human eye. This should help to relieve eye strain.

The device carries the certification «VESA DisplayHDR 600», which ensures that it guarantees a high-quality HDR display. According to Samsung, the monitor displays deep blacks, bright whites and contrasts well.

If you connect two computers to the monitor, you can display both surfaces on the screen at the same time - separately next to each other or as a window on top of each other.

Odyssey OLED G8 - G81SF

This monitor offers 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) with a refresh rate of 240 hertz and a response time of just 0.03 milliseconds (GtG). This means the screen displays content smoothly, which is particularly beneficial for action games.

It is equipped with a QD OLED panel that is designed to suppress reflections. Compared to conventional OLED screens, QD OLED offers better contrasts, more vivid colours and greater image sharpness. This technology is also ideal for HDR content, as it produces a deep black despite higher brightness.

You can buy the Odyssey OLED G8 - G81SF with a 32 or 27 inch screen diagonal.

You can adjust the tilt and height of the S80UD and align it vertically. It is equipped with an HDMI and a display port connection. You can also connect up to three USB devices to the monitor (2x USB-A, 1x USB-C).

Thanks to Power Delivery, you can charge your laptop with 90 watts directly on the screen. Like the G91F, this monitor can also display two computer surfaces simultaneously using a KVM switch.

The S70D is the slimmed-down version of the S80D and comes with a simple stand that only allows you to adjust the display tilt forwards and backwards. You also have to do without USB connection options and the KVM switch.
