Natalie’s favourite Christmas movie

«I love contrasts – something the film delivers by the bucketload. There’s this sugar-coated, intricate world, on the one hand, and the rotten, gloomy dwelling of a green grouch on faraway Mount Crumpit. These contrasts make this movie a masterpiece that entertains the polar opposites that make up my personality.»
«Why did I choose this film? Because it has a classic top-down approach. Take the title, for example. I could have loads of cheeky fun with it. Oh, and the leading lady is pretty, too.

Philipp’s favourite Christmas movie

«I enjoy Christmas movies that aren’t strictly Christmas movies. There’s hardly a film out there that puts me in a more festive mood than the one with the greedy monsters that just want to have a bit of fun.»

Well, any idea which films are editors are talking about? Let us know in the comments! What’s up for grabs? A monolith from Greenland. Ready for you to collect. In Greenland.

I write about technology as if it were cinema, and about films as if they were real life. Between bits and blockbusters, I’m after stories that move people, not just generate clicks. And yes – sometimes I listen to film scores louder than I probably should.
