The "X11 Omni Cyclone" from Ecovacs automates cleaning. The combination of base station, AI and "PowerBoost" technology promises long running times and low maintenance.

Dust, crumbs and stains accumulate every day. Cleaning takes time that you can save. A robot that cleans floors reliably and continuously takes this work off your hands. The «X11 Omni Cyclone» from Ecovacs is a device that aims to fulfil precisely this requirement.

Performance and runtime

The X11 relies on the so-called «PowerBoost» technology. It recharges the battery at short intervals, significantly extending the runtime. According to the manufacturer, the appliance cleans areas of up to 1000 square metres in one cycle.

The suction power is 19,500 pascals. For large flats or houses, this means constant cleaning without you having to intervene.

Cleaning in detail

The mopping function is called «Ozmo Roller 2.0». With 200 revolutions per minute and a contact pressure of 3800 Pascal, the mopping roller is designed to remove even stubborn stains. The system is supplemented by «TruEdge 3.0». This enables the robot to reach edges of up to 1.5 centimetres.

For door thresholds, the X11 relies on the «TruePass Adaptive» climbing system. It is designed to overcome thresholds of up to 2.4 centimetres and even continuous steps of up to four centimetres in height mechanically and without delay.

Station and maintenance

The centrepiece is the «OmniCyclone» station. It works without a bag and separates dust using a two-stage cyclone system. This is designed to reduce follow-up costs and waste. The dust container in the station holds 1.6 litres.

This means the robot remains ready for use for up to 48 days, according to the manufacturer. Fresh and dirty water containers, each with a volume of over three litres, supply the mopping function.

Intelligent control

In addition to the hardware, the software takes centre stage. «Agent Yiko» is the name of the AI approach that adapts cleaning routines and analyses your rooms. It regulates the suction power, water volume and route in real time. The aim is autonomous control that makes your interventions superfluous.
