Now available: New gaming monitors from AOC

With the Q27G42XE, C24G42E and C27G42E, AOC presents three new gaming monitors. All models offer 180 Hertz refresh rates, Adaptive Sync and short response times. There are differences in resolution, panel technology and screen size.
If you are looking for a new gaming monitor, you should take a look at the latest models from AOC. The Q27G42XE, C24G42E and C27G42E models are aimed at gamers who value fast response times, high refresh rates and modern synchronisation technologies. Let me briefly introduce them to you.
Q27G42XE: flat, fast, high-resolution
The Q27G42XE is a 27-inch monitor with a flat Fast IPS panel and a QHD resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. The refresh rate is 180 hertz and the response time is one millisecond GtG (grey-to-grey). According to the manufacturer, the monitor covers 92.9 per cent of the DCI-P3 and 89.9 per cent of the AdobeRGB colour space. The maximum brightness is 300 nits and the contrast ratio is 1000:1. HDR10 is supported, but without certified HDR display.
G-SYNC compatibility, combined with Adaptive Sync, ensures smooth image reproduction. The MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) response time is 0.5 milliseconds. The connection options include two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 as well as a 3.5 millimetre audio output. Two speakers with two watts each are integrated. Ergonomically, the monitor can be tilted from -3 to +21 degrees. The design is simple, with narrow frames on three sides.

C24G42E: compact and curved
The C24G42E has a 23.6-inch curved VA panel with a curvature radius of 1500R. The resolution is 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD). The refresh rate here is also 180 hertz. The response time is specified as four milliseconds (GtG) and 0.5 milliseconds (MPRT)
Adaptive Sync is also on board and is designed to reduce image tearing during fast movements. The VA panel is said to deliver a high static contrast ratio of 3000:1 and deep blacks. The brightness reaches 250 nits. According to the manufacturer, the device covers 88.8 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space
Two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a headphone output are available. This monitor also offers integrated speakers with 2 watts each. Tilt adjustment is possible, but other ergonomic functions are missing.
C27G42E: larger, also curved
The C27G42E is technically closely related to the C24G42E, but offers a larger 27-inch VA panel with identical Full HD resolution. Here too, the refresh rate is 180 hertz. The response time is one millisecond (GtG) or 0.5 milliseconds (MPRT). The contrast ratio remains at 3000:1, while the brightness increases to 300 nits.
With a colour space coverage of 92.1 per cent DCI-P3, the model offers visibly better colour performance than its smaller counterpart. Adaptive Sync is integrated and HDR10 is supported, although again without HDR certification.
The features include two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a headphone output. The monitor also has an integrated microphone. The two speakers with two watts each and the simple tilt adjustment correspond to the other two models.
