Now available: New EliteBook business laptops from HP

With Ultra, X and X Flip, HP is launching three new notebook series. They differ in terms of display and design, but share the same basis: Core Ultra processors, Intel Arc graphics and integrated security functions.
If you work on the move a lot, you need a device that combines performance, mobility and security. HP is launching compact business laptops with the new EliteBook Ultra, X and X Flip series. They are based on Intel's latest Core Ultra processors with integrated NPU for AI-supported functions.
HP covers three key areas with the new EliteBooks: The Ultra models prioritise performance and high-resolution displays, the X models offer a slimmer design, and the X Flip adds a full convertible to the range.
Common features
All models feature a 14-inch display, Windows 11 Pro and security features such as HP Wolf Pro Security. WUXGA and 2.8K OLED panels are available, depending on the configuration. The RAM is between 16 and 32 gigabytes, while the SSD capacity ranges from 512 gigabytes to one terabyte.
The graphics are provided by Intel Arc and are permanently integrated in the processor. All models have an integrated 5-megapixel webcam with AI-supported optimisation for video conferencing.
EliteBook Ultra G1i
The Ultra series offers multiple configurations. The U5-226V model uses an Intel Core Ultra 5, 16 gigabytes of RAM and a 512 gigabyte SSD. The OLED touch display has a resolution of 2.8K. The U7-256V comes with the Core Ultra 7 256V, 16 gigabytes of RAM, 512 gigabytes of SSD and also a 2.8K OLED panel.
The U7-258V is available in two versions: one with 32 gigabytes of RAM, 512 gigabytes of SSD and an OLED display, the other with 32 gigabytes of RAM, 1 terabyte of SSD and a WUXGA IPS panel. So it's clear: more memory means no OLED here.
EliteBook X G1i
The EliteBook X G1i has a slimmer design, but remains close to the Ultra series in terms of technical features. Unlike there, HP only uses WUXGA IPS panels with 1920 × 1200 pixels, 60 hertz and touch function. The U5-228V model combines the Intel Core Ultra 5 228V with 32 gigabytes of RAM and a 1-terabyte SSD. The U7-258V variant comes with the Core Ultra 7 258V, supplemented by 32 gigabytes of RAM and also a 1-terabyte SSD.
EliteBook X Flip G1i
The X Flip extends the series with a convertible. Thanks to its 360-degree hinge, it can be completely folded down and used as a tablet. The U7-258V configuration is equipped with a Core Ultra 7, 32 gigabytes of RAM, a 1-terabyte SSD and a WUXGA touch display.
