Now available: 3 new Deebot models from Ecovacs
Ecovacs is adding three new Deebots to its robotic vacuum cleaner line-up. X12 Pro Omni, X12 OmniCyclone and T90 Pro Omni combine vacuuming and mopping, but differ in terms of stain pre-treatment, dusting system and features.
A robot hoover should do one thing above all: Keep floors clean regularly without you having to constantly rework them yourself. This sounds simple, but is difficult in practice. Hair gets wrapped around brushes. Stains dry on hard floors. Dust remains on skirting boards. Door thresholds stop some appliances. Carpets require a different treatment than tiles or parquet.
Ecovacs presents three new models, the Deebot X12 Pro Omni in white, the Deebot X12 OmniCyclone in silver and the Deebot T90 Pro Omni in white and black, which are designed to tackle precisely these issues. All four vacuum and mop. They work with a station that supplies the robot and takes over some of the maintenance. The main differences lie in stain treatment, station, battery strategy and features.
X12 Pro Omni: focus on stains and automation
The Deebot X12 Pro Omni focuses on the active treatment of dirt on hard floors. Its central feature is targeted stain treatment. The robot recognises dried dirt or treats previously defined zones. Two nozzles spray water and, if required, cleaning agent directly onto the stain before the rotating mopping roller runs over it.
The mop roller is 27 centimetres long and rotates continuously. During cleaning, it is rinsed with pressurised water. Dirt is continuously washed out. The roller lifts automatically on carpets.

The Omni station washes the roller with heated water, removes dirty water and, according to the manufacturer, is largely self-cleaning. It can also switch between two cleaning agents. Manual intervention is limited to topping up water and occasional cleaning.
The suction power is up to 22,000 pascals. According to the manufacturer, the main brush is designed in such a way that hair is preferentially drawn into the airflow. The system combines a camera, structured light and AI evaluation for obstacle detection.
You can pre-order the device now. It will be delivered from 28 May.
X12 OmniCyclone: same cleaning logic, different station
The Deebot X12 OmniCyclone employs the same cleaning and navigation technology as the X12 Pro Omni. The mopping roller, stain pre-treatment, suction power and sensor technology are identical.
The difference lies in the station. The OmniCyclone station works without a dust bag. Instead, a two-stage cyclone system separates dust and air. The dust collects in a 1.6-litre container, which, according to the manufacturer, allows up to 48 days of operation. The mop roller and dirty water are also cleaned automatically. Ecovacs has dispensed with additional convenience functions such as the automatic change of cleaning agents.

You can find more information about the OmniCyclone in the news article by my colleague Lorenz:
T90 Pro Omni: suction power instead of stain logic
The Deebot T90 Pro Omni does away with targeted stain pre-treatment. The focus is on high suction power
With up to 30,000 pascals, the vacuum pressure is significantly higher than that of the X12 models. This is particularly important on carpets. An anti-hair brush is also used here.

The mopping system employs a rotating roller that cleans itself during operation. The Omni-Station automatically empties the dust container and washes the roller. Unlike the OmniCyclone, it uses dust bags. The energy management is designed for long cleaning cycles. During short washing breaks, the robot recharges in a targeted manner and continues cleaning.
The T90 Pro Omni is available in white and black. There is no technical difference between the variants.
