Only a few need more: Lenovo Idea Tab Pro tested
by Michelle Brändle

Lenovo presents a new generation with the "Yoga Tab", the "Idea Tabs" and the "Tab One". They share a common design and software basis, but differ in terms of display size, memory and computing power.
If you are looking for a tablet, Lenovo now offers a selection of new devices. The models cover various requirements: from compact entry-level devices to powerful creative tablets with pen support. All devices come in the colour Luna Grey and run Android 14 or 15.
The «Yoga Tab» is the most technically powerful device in the new series. It has an 11.1-inch display with a resolution of 3200 × 2000 pixels at 144 hertz. Inside is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, one of the most powerful chips currently available for Android tablets. With 256 gigabytes of internal memory and pen support, the device is not only suitable for performance-intensive applications, but also for handwritten notes, drawings and sketches in high resolution.
The integrated kickstand allows for multiple viewing angles, which is particularly practical for longer writing or drawing tasks. The «Yoga Tab» runs Android 15 and supports Dolby Atmos sound via four speakers integrated into the casing.
The «Idea Tab» series comprises three models, all of which are based on the same design and operating system, but differ in size and features. Lenovo uses displays with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and 90 Hertz refresh rate in the series, each in an aluminium casing and with Android 15 as the system basis.
The «Idea Tab 5G» offers an 11-inch display, 128 gigabytes of memory and the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Thanks to the integrated cellular module, it stays online even without Wi-Fi and is suitable for travelling. The Wi-Fi version with pen support uses the same technical basis, dispenses with 5G and comes with a pen instead.
The «Idea Tab Plus» with a 12.1-inch screen diagonal and 256 gigabytes of memory stands above it. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 and offers slightly more computing power for multitasking or media editing. The larger display shares the same resolution, but provides a better overview thanks to the larger surface area. There are also four speakers with Dolby Atmos, fast charging via USB-C and a microSD slot for memory expansion.
The Tab One is the smallest device in the series. With an 8.7-inch screen diagonal, WLAN equipment and a weight of around 320 grammes, the Tab One is designed for basic tasks such as surfing, reading or streaming. A MediaTek Helio G85 processor is at work inside.
My interests are varied, I just like to enjoy life. Always on the lookout for news about darts, gaming, films and series.
