Is Skull Island the worst game of the year? We find out
The internet is certain: "Skull Island: Rise of Kong" belongs on the pyre. The game is said to be an absolute imposition. Is the monster legend really being dragged through the mud like this? Luca and I take on the case. We'll be streaming on Twitch from 2pm.
Film adaptations usually serve to capitalise on the name. I had never heard of "Skull Island: Rise of Kong" until recently. The game tells the story of how the orphaned Kong became the king of Skull Island. That actually sounds quite interesting. But the trailer already doesn't bode well.
First opinions of the game are also scathing. In contrast, "King Kong" looks better on the Playstation 2, says X-user Dreamer. And he's not alone. The few reviews on Steam are "mostly negative".
Colleague Luca Fontana and I are not deterred by this. We venture onto Skull Island and find out whether Kong is still king or not. <p
