
Intel's Arc graphics cards should still be released in March
Intel plans to launch the first Arc graphics cards this month. The dedicated graphics units in notebooks will be the first.
Intel invites to the presentation of the new dedicated graphics units for notebooks on March 30. The chip giant will most likely present the Arc Alchemist A350M and A370M models for ultra-thin mobile devices. They are supposed to offer up to twice better performance than current integrated solutions.
What is Arc again?
Arc is the brand under which Intel releases dedicated GPUs. Codenamed Alchemist, the first generation comes with Xe-HPG (High Performance Gaming) architecture. Both mobile and desktop cards are to come this year.
The desktop variants are expected at the end of the second quarter. The flagship, called A700, is supposed to have a DG2-512 GPU. It is supposed to be on par with the RTX 3070 or RTX 3070 Ti in terms of performance.
