digitec Podcast Episode 5: "Ghost of Tsushima", "Gamer Girl" and prize draw

We pull out our katanas and argue about which of us has the best samurai outfit in "Ghost of Tsushima". Then we ask ourselves what the developers of "Gamer Girl" were up to and rejoice with Henry Cavill over his new PC.
We start the podcast with news: In addition to a game flat rate, the Xbox Game Pass will soon be expanded to include cloud gaming. Microsoft announced that the xCloud service will become part of Game Pass Ultimate in September - at no extra charge. Hopefully the service will also be available here by then.
Microsoft is doubling down with over 70 demos of unreleased games that can be played on the Xbox One until 27 July. This makes us nostalgic and reminds us of old demo discs. Those were the days.
There are even more discs for the new "Flight Simulator". It comes on a whopping ten DVDs if you want to buy the physical version. That's enough to make you dizzy.
On the other hand, the trailer for the FMV game "Gamer Girl" makes us really sick. Apparently it wasn't just us, because the trailer was withdrawn on the same day. In "Gamer Girl", you play a chat moderator of a female streamer who is being harassed by a stalker. The developers obviously didn't quite hit the right note.
The Witcher actor Henry Cavill, on the other hand, is spreading good humour: he shared a video on Instagram in which he assembles a gamer PC.
At the end, we nerd out about the PS4 samurai game "Ghost of Tsushima", which really got us all hooked. I also played "Paper Mario: The Origami King" and I'm pretty sure I'd rather learn how to fold paper artfully than play through this game.
We also have lots of goodies from "The Last of Us 2" to give away. Find out how to win in the podcast.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
