Confirmed: "Minecraft" becomes a Netflix series
Netflix announces: "Minecraft" will be adapted as a computer-animated series. However, not much more is known yet. At least there's an ultra-short teaser to watch.
"Netflix and Craft" instead of "Netflix and Chill". The streaming giant via X has announced that it is turning the best-selling video game of all time into a computer-animated series: "Minecraft".
Not much is known yet. And the teaser released with the announcement shows even less. First we see a Creeper, one of the game's most iconic mascots. Then a lava cave in the Nether region, where the red Netflix-N stands. After all, the computer-animated series is being produced together with Mojang Studios, the game's Swedish developer. WildBrain was selected as the animation studio.
Almost nothing is known about the story either. Except that it will be about new characters and will show the world of "Minecraft" in a new light.
