Braun Audio: The legendary brand returns
The hi-fi brand Braun is returning to the audio circus with a new edition of the timeless LE speakers from 1959. However, the manufacturer behind the comeback is Pure.
Braun has announced its comeback to the audio market. The brand wants to get back into the market with a reinvention of the LE speakers from 1959. Today, Braun is better known for shavers and other styling products. Braun last produced speakers 28 years ago - half an eternity ago.
The LE speakers that Braun now wants to bring back to life were designed by Dieter Rams, head and designer at Braun, and have cult status.
At the IFA in Berlin, the manufacturer, which used to produce in Frankfurt, plans to present the new loudspeaker units. The newly developed LE series will focus on simple design, ease of use, connectivity and purity of sound.
However, it is not Braun itself that is behind the resurrection of Braun Audio, but the British audio brand Pure. Pure is primarily known for radios. However, the licence remains with Procter & Gamble, Braun's parent company. According to the press release, Pure wants to ensure that the cult brand can once again take its rightful place in the premium sound sector.

Braun has been active in audio design and production for almost a hundred years. So the manufacturer will certainly not be lacking in experience.
