Becoming «Rocket League» pros – part 1
by Philipp Rüegg
Luca, Simon and I failed miserably in our first «Rocket League» test. But that's not a problem, as we have coaches who are going to turn us into raging goalscoring machines in today's stream. Well, at least they’ll try.
In a three-part series, Luca, Simon and I are going to attempt to become «Rocket League» pros. Well, at least pros enough to compete against a semi-professional team and score at least one goal. We started off with a casual warm-up in the shape of a Lets Play. The start was promising. It wasn't until three digitec users joined as sparring partners that there was a slight dent in our game statistics. We lost 1:12. There’s a lot of room for improvement.
In today's episode, we’re putting our fate in the skilled hands of the two Swiss «Rocket League» experts Nukes and Zaphare. Let's see if they see us as diamonds in the rough or a piece of waste glass. The livestream took place on 5 May at 8 p.m. and can be viewed in the header.
In the final test next weeks, we'll be taking on the guys from Edelweiss Esports.
We’re going to stream all episodes on Twitch and YouTube.
More «Rocket League» will follow on 5 June 2021 when the fourth edition of our digitec Playground event takes place. We’re happy that we can now announce the prizes.

As a child, I wasn't allowed to have any consoles. It was only with the arrival of the family's 486 PC that the magical world of gaming opened up to me. Today, I'm overcompensating accordingly. Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
