As good as «Wii Sports»? We’re checking out the new «Switch Sports».

The sequel to one of the best-selling Wii games has arrived! Luca and I want to find out if «Switch Sports» can fill the huge boots of its predecessor Let’s Play. Our quest starts at 1 p.m.

Football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, bowling and chanbara are out to make you sweat in «Switch Sports». 16 years after Wii Sports catapulted the Wii into stardom, Nintendo is delivering the successor for the Switch. They’ve added a sport, but one of the most popular is missing – golf. The lawn game is expected to be added at the end of the year. In any case, Luca and I won’t let ourselves be discouraged by this. We’re slipping on those sweatbands, strapping on the Joy-Cons and gearing up for a dynamic duel.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
