AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 specs leaked

Five new Threadripper CPUs have been leaked. They are supposed to have from 12 to 64 cores and will be launched in March 2022.
As reported by Igor's Lab, AMD's next Ryzen Threadripper Pro lineup includes five CPUs. They are allegedly based on the Zen3 architecture. Variants with 64, 32, 24, 16 and even 12 cores are planned. The Thermal Design Power (TDP) is said to be 280 watts for all of them, but normally they draw between 170 and 260 watts.
The base clock ranges from 2.7 GHz to 4.1 GHz, depending on the CPU. The CPUs are supposed to boost with up to 4.55 GHz. The flagship is said to be the Threadripper PRO 5995WX, with 64 cores and 128 threads. According to Igor's Lab, this supports up to 8-channel DDR4-3200 memory and 128 PCIe Gen4 lanes.
CPU | Kerne / Threads | Basistakt | Boosttakt | TDP |
---|---|---|---|---|
Threadripper Pro 5995X | 64 / 128 | 2,7 GHz | 4,55 GHz | 280 Watt |
Threadripper Pro 5975X | 32 / 64 | 3,6 GHz | 4,55 GHz | 280 Watt |
Threadripper Pro 5965X | 24 / 48 | 3,8 GHz | 4,55 GHz | 280 Watt |
Threadripper Pro 5955X | 16 / 32 | 4,0 GHz | 4,55 GHz | 280 Watt |
Threadripper Pro 5945X | 12 / 24 | 4,1 GHz | 4,55 GHz | 280 Watt |
It is rumored that the CPUs will be unveiled at CES on January 4. As always, such leaks and rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.
