AMD just announced three new processors: the Ryzen 5 3600XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 9 3900XT. They're all boosted.

The Ryzen 5 3600X, Ryzen 7 3800X and Ryzen 9 3900X processors are getting an increased tick rate and will be available soon with an extra «T» at the end of their name. At least according to AMD. And thanks to a leak online, we already know the release date. On July 7th at 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, the floodgates will open.

Compared to the X-CPUs, these new XT CPUs have an increased maximum boosted frequency of 100 to 200 MHz. Here's an overview:

Otherwise, everything remains the same. The base tick rate and maximum TDP are the same. And the launch price listed by AMD will also remain. Well, we don't really know that yet. But according to leaked data, that's the case. This means you'll have to pay up 500 dollars for a Ryzen 9 3900XT, 400 for a Ryzen 7 3800XT and 200 for a Ryzen 5 3600XT.

The prices for the Swiss versions haven't been leaked yet, however. You also can't pre-order the processors yet. But you can already put them on your wishlist.

But that's not all: AMD is also introducing a new chip for cheaper motherboards. The A520 chip for AM4-socket boards is the successor to the A320, and it also supports PCIe Gen3 as well as USB 3.2 Gen2 for one port. It should also be noted that the Ryzen 3000 processors support PCIe Gen4. If you want to take maximum advantage of this, you better reach for a board with a B550 or X570 chipset. The first boards with an A520 chip will probably come out in August.
