Headlines: AI is the big winner
Negative headlines are leading the race this year. In addition to harrowing wars and earthquakes, Switzerland is particularly interested in Rammstein singer Till Lindemann and his court case. Allegations of rape and abuse were rejected.

Swiss personalities
Switzerland has a keen interest in sport. If Roger Federer is no longer among the active tennis players, there is always Stan Wawrinka. As number one, Remo Forrer shows that the Eurovision Song Contest has not lost its relevance. Even if Switzerland didn't make it into the top 10 with the newcomer.

David Beckam has attracted attention in Switzerland with his own Netflix series. Meanwhile, French comedian Pierre Palmade made negative headlines. Under the influence of drugs, he was involved in a serious car accident in which an unborn child died. On the female side, only singers and actresses are represented. First and foremost Shakira, who was on trial for tax evasion.

Farewells
Almost ten years have passed since singer Tina Turner applied for Swiss citizenship. The unmistakable voice was with us for 83 years. Actor Matthew Perry passed away somewhat earlier and unexpectedly this year. He brought us countless laughs as Chandler Bing in the series Friends with a great deal of sarcasm. He published his legacy in 2022 with his autobiography. This is the first time he has been in the spotlight with all his problems. Professional cyclist Gino Mäder was even younger. He died at the age of just 26 after an accident at the Tour de Suisse.

In my world, Super Mario chases Stormtroopers with a unicorn and Harley Quinn mixes cocktails for Eddie and Peter at the beach bar. Wherever I can live out my creativity, my fingers tingle. Or maybe it's because nothing flows through my veins but chocolate, glitter and coffee.
