A Tech Affair episode 174: Sony's camera revolution, "Zelda" film adaptation, "The Marvels", "Robocop Rogue City"

What makes the Sony Alpha 9 III so extraordinary? What do we expect from the "Zelda" film adaptation? Is "The Marvels" as bad as everyone says? Is "Robocop Rogue City" a worthy game adaptation? We talk about this and more in episode 174.
Sony has unveiled the Alpha 9 III flagship camera - with a global shutter. Doesn't ring a bell? We'll explain why it's revolutionary. The story of Princess Zelda, on the other hand, is legendary. The title "The Legend of Zelda" says it all. Nintendo is planning a live-action film adaptation of the game series. We are sceptical for various reasons. The news from Hollywood that the actresses' union has reached an agreement with the studios makes us more optimistic.
In the big screen section, we talk about "The Marvels". The latest superhero flick "only" offers entertaining entertainment. But that's more than Marvel has delivered in the recent past.
"Robocop Rogue City" provided us with the best entertainment. Fans of the cyborg policeman finally get a worthy game adaptation. We are divided on "Thirsty Suitors". The colourful skateboarding combat adventure is over the top in every respect. It leaves us both enthusiastic and shaking our heads.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
