KitchenAid

KitchenAid is a well-known brand for electric kitchen machines. The best-known product is the universal kitchen machine, which is also commonly referred to simply as KitchenAid. In addition, the product range extends from stand-alone and hand mixers to coffee machines and a whole series of small kitchen appliances such as toasters, waffle irons and kettles.

KitchenAid was first introduced to the market in 1919 by the US Hobart Manufacturing Company. The company used the name for an electric stand mixer for home use. Since 1986, the KitchenAid brand has been owned by the global Whirlpool Corporation, based in Benton Harbor, Michigan. With annual sales of more than USD 18 billion and around 71,000 employees, Whirlpool Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of household appliances.
