Great Espresso Machine (UPDATED: But poor build quality)

Had a De'Longhi Dinamica for 5 years where the coffee grinder died on me, so wanted to get a new fancier machine.

Opted for the PrimaDonna Class to take the coffee/espresso making process to a new level, and so far it has delivered.

It is much quieter than the old Dinamica (which is still available and a great started machine) and also have higher pressure (19 bar vs 15 bar) for coffee and milk dispersion. The water tank is a massive 2 liters and seems like the water wastage is much less than in the before mentioned Dinamica. I still use a Britta water purifier to filter the water before pouring into the water container so maybe just a tip to keep the machine "clean" from additional limescale.

Just one point, no need to send 2x the money for this machine (compared to the Dinamica) unless you enjoy multiple types of coffee drinks and like to upgrade to something fancier.

So, even IOT have reached espresso machines, but makes little sense as you still need to be physically present to e.g. place a cup/mug under the nozzles, change the milk froth settings, fill water, coffee beans, empty ground coffee pucks etc but fun to "impress" friends if anything...

Lastly, the shiny metal base (where you place your mugs) still gets easily scratched so keep this in mind. I don't think there is anything you can do about it... I would still buy this though più
