It works, but it took much more work to get it running than I was expecting.

It works, it just took some doing to get it there.

The device comes with an installation CD, but who even has a disk drive anymore? I went to the website to download the drivers. For some reason, the website drivers did not work. I had to find a computer with a disk drive, convert the CD data to an ISO, then mount the ISO on my computer to get the correct drivers.

I was assuming that this thing would work as a simple USB webcam, but it does not... My solution was to open it in VLC as an external media device. più
