It's an amazon deceptive offer, that is generally sold by default together with the kindle without clearly explaining what it is. To buy a kindle without "special offers", you need to actively opt out and this will increase the price by 20 dollars. But again, in the product description they don't tell you what "special offers" means, and you might think that the offer refers to the kindle
