Cet objectif est exclusivement destiné aux appareils photo APS-C. Il a donc un cercle d'image plus petit que les objectifs pour les capteurs plein format. Lorsque cet objectif est utilisé avec un appareil photo plein format, il provoque un effet d'ombre (vignettage) sur les bords de l'image.
