Unfortunately version 2 without atheros chipset. Unusable for use with Linux.

I would like to set the record straight; the V2 does run with Linux. What is not possible, however, or can only be done in a complicated way, is to switch to monitor mode. Why one would always want to do that... :-) But as a normal WLAN stick it runs tiptop (Kali Linux 2017.3).
