Just like robthebruce, my feedback on this is

Hub only works with LAN connection

The problem described is probably not directly related to the internet provider. The SmartHub creates its own Wi-Fi network for the connection to the cameras. I have connected the hub to my home network via LAN (I don't think it can connect to the internet via home wifi and create its own wifi at the same time). In the router app (Swisscom) I see the hub as "VMB5000". The cameras are only connected to the hub's wifi. If you have previously operated the cameras without the hub, they must first be removed from the app and reset to factory settings. Otherwise they will connect to the home Wi-Fi. Then select the hub via the app and add the cameras again. That worked for me.
