Yes it is possible, in the settings of the application by setting the brightness to 0 you are in the dark. It just requires a Bluetooth connected phone for the setting
Bluetooth Low Energy cannot be deactivated on this device, but Bluetooth Classic can. The latter is needed if you want to listen to music from your smartphone on the speaker of the alarm clock.
