So far I have only changed the bag once. I've had the hoover for about a year and I can't remember exactly, but I think it showed on the app. The vacuum cleaner does its job twice a week.
Hello diginerd
Thank you for your question. According to our research, there is currently no device for 820 USD that is originally manufactured by iRobot and delivered to Switzerland. The pricing is a matter for the respective retail partner, who of course also have the right to run promotions on this model. Please note that due to the different mains voltages, warranty claims may be void.

Hi Stephanie, for me it's enough if the base has good wifi. My S9+ also cleans in rooms where I have very poor wifi. I've been running it 3 times a week since the beginning of May. Haven't had to empty or clean anything in that time. I don't have any pets. Greetings Michael
Hello DarthShadow
No, at the moment the Roomba s9 is only available with a suction station.
Unfortunately we don't know yet if the Roomba s9 without suction station will be available in Switzerland.
Many greetings

@Galaxus - it seems from AnaB's question that you had the wrong price for the product. Nothing I can help with.
FYI We have used our Roomba S9+ now for 1 year and it has performed well. It runs almost every day to ensure our ground floor is clean.
Hello Z00bs
Thank you for your enquiry.
The Roomba s9+ has 30% wider rubber brushes than the other models, which means that the rubber brushes go almost to the edge. Accordingly, it sucks up hair before it can even get into the wheels.
The Roomba s9+ also has a rear wheel instead of a front wheel where hair can hardly get caught.
In addition, what Marc_sander has already written. All parts are designed in such a way that hair can be removed relatively easily. The unique rubber brushes basically prevent hair from getting tangled.
Depending on the use, a quick check of these parts once a month is enough.
Best regards

I would get neither one of those, I think they both are highly overpriced. A 3rd option would be the Roborock S7 with the automatic dust bin, much better than the Ecovacs, Samsung and iRobot solution. The S7 can also be bought without the automatic dust bin system, so you could upgrade at a later time.
If you are lookung for more for less, check out the excellent Roidmi Eve Plus for 469 CHF. It costs less than all the others, but it is not sold by Digitec. Roidmi is a company of the Xiaomi ecosystem.
He doesn't need one. The S9+ creates a virtual map of the flat. There you can then demarcate and name the rooms. You can draw in areas that you want the cleaner to clean specifically, or you can draw in restricted areas that the cleaner is not allowed to enter. In addition, you can determine the sequence and store several cleaning plans. For example, plan 1: kitchen, living room, plan 2: living room, bathroom, bedroom, etc. The whole thing is controlled via the app with the smartphone. If the S9+ is connected to the WLAN, you can also send it to clean manually via your smartphone if you are not at home.
The S9+ has neither virtual walls nor remote control in the package. I haven't tested it, so I can't say 100%, but they probably won't work anymore.
Hello Cha-him
Yes of course, here with pleasure some articles matching the Roomba s9+;
iRobot Clean Base Dust Bag Set (3x)
iRobot Roomba Rubber Lamellae (1x)
iRobot S-Series (3-piece)
In the description of each article it should be noted to which series (in your case series s) the articles are suitable. Otherwise, please feel free to contact us again. In any case, we wish you continued enjoyment with your Roomba s9+.

At amazon.com you can get the s9+ from iRobot even without a promotion for 1100.- USD, which is about 1000.- CHF. So you sell the device here 40% more expensive!? Of course you don't deliver from the USA to Switzerland, otherwise you would ruin the good margin here. And whether you "of course also have the right" to protect your market here with prices that are obviously far too high could be questioned. Can you name the additional costs that this product causes you in Switzerland compared to the USA? That way, as a customer, I could understand why you charge this price here?
Hello Diginerd
Thank you for your question.
Please take a look at other European countries to see that we currently have one of the lowest price levels in all of Europe for the Roomba s9+ in Switzerland.
It is indeed the case that the price level in the USA is structured differently than in Europe. Of course, this does not only apply to us as the iRobot brand but to various categories. However, please note that there are also many economic and socio-demographic differences between the individual continents and countries and many global companies divide the continents/regions into their own business units. Various additional costs such as customs clearance, patents, transport costs, quantities, taxes, distribution structures, etc. are different compared to the USA.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
