Question about LogiLink MP0021
why do these plugs only support 100mbit/s bandwidth? after crimping the plug I've tested the plug with a RJ45 cable tester and got a passed. Nonetheless I've always got only 100mbit/s. Before shortening the cable I got with the same cable 1000Mbit/s. Replacing the cable I also get 1000mbit/s. Do I miss something?
I can confirm a similar behavior with my crimped cables and these plugs. Many times the connected devices will fall back to 100mbit/s, but reconnecting them helps to get back to 1000mbit/s. The cabletester shows all green. Must be something with interference inside the plug.
Is there a better plug?
Hello, this is most likely a connection error in the new room. Test from end to end with an RJ45 cable tester to see if the wires are connected in the same order or if there is a false contact.
