Why can't I manage my device on the web interface? When I do the "initial setup", I can log in with admin and change the SSID and the WLAN network key, for example. But after that I can't log in and I'm not logged in automatically, so I can't manage my device. So far neither Salt nor Huawei have been able to help me, nobody knows what the problem is. It's not the device or laptop either, in the Salt shop they tried with another device, same problem. Tried with another laptop, same problem. Tried with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, same problem. I have already reset the device to factory settings 1000 times and tried again, but nothing helps. After shutting down the laptop, I am logged out and can no longer log in, neither with admin nor with a new password. How do you do that?

When logging in for the first time, you enter the user and PW "admin" and I always thought that the user and PW would be identical afterwards. Well, that's not the case, the user remains the same and only the PW changes.

I think the WIFI key is then first in there as a password and then has to be changed again. The device works perfectly for me, but it took me a while to set it up correctly. I use it with Apple devices and also with Windows computers and Android devices.

I have been using the device for years without any problems, except that one was stolen from me last November. But that doesn't matter.
What hardware are you on, Mac or Windows? Do you have a firewall set on the notebook? Have you tried using a different device, e.g. iPad?
Which URL do you need for a connection attempt?
