Question about Synology DS920+
Which UPS is compatible or suitable for the Synology DS920+ (4x 10TB, WD Red Plus)? Or does the Synology DS920+ already have an integrated security mode that protects the data in the event of a power failure?
So, if the Syno has no power at all, then there can be problems (data loss, no booting, etc...)... As a UPS, I have posted this one, which goes a long way: APC Back-UPS Pro (900 VA, 540 W, line-interactive (protection class 5)).
You can also connect it to the syno via USB, then the syno will automatically shut down when the limits are reached...
And if necessary, a smaller one will also do... Have fun and LG
