Question about Apple Mac Mini - Late 2020
Which Mac Mini is recommended for simple editing of GoPro 10 and mobile phone recordings, or is it still worth buying (wait for the M2 processor variant)?
Even the smallest Mac Mini is very powerful and should meet the speed requirements. However, I would take at least a 512 GB SSD, as 256 GB is already very little and an SSD only maintains a high speed up to about 80% fill level.
From my point of view, this question only arises in the professional sector. As an average user, you will hardly ever push even the smallest Mac mini with 8gb ram to its performance limit.
