Question about TP-Link Tapo C425 Solar Kit
Where I install the solar module, there is never direct sunlight in winter and only a little in summer (north side) Can the module also charge the battery in the shade?

I don't think the north side is suitable, the cable between the camera and solar module is approx. 2 m, if this is not enough it can also be extended with a USB C extension cable. This means it can be mounted on the east or west side.
I installed mine on the north side and with the weather over the last week, I've gone from 45% to 73%. It's not optimal, but it should at least hold the load, if there's no other option.
