What is the advantage of a mesh router at this price compared to a simple, cheaper wifi repeater? In both cases, the satellite (the node) must be close enough to the router to get a good signal, and far enough away to be able to broadcast wifi in dead zones. I was wondering how it could magically work more efficiently, but there is little technical information on how it works.
